Acquisition of high impact exploration opportunity
Atlantic Petroleum today announces the completion of the acquisition of a 4% interest in the Irish Licence (FEL) 3/04, off the west coast of Ireland. Drilling has already commenced on the licence, which is targeting the Dunquin North exploration prospect which has the potential to have a very significant impact on the Group in the event of a successful well. Ettrick field development plan addendum approved
The FDP Addendum will result in the drilling of an infill production well near the crest of the field. The well is planned to be brought on-stream towards the end of 3Q 2013. Read more..

Operations update April
During the month of April, Atlantic Petroleum produced a net total of 63,000 barrels of oil equivalents (boe) from the Chestnut, Ettrick and Blackbird fields. The average daily production was 2,100 boe per day net to the Company.
