The Atlantic Petroleum Logo

To signal the extensive development which Atlantic Petroleum has gone through since its foundation in 1998 and the commitment to building on the strengths that have made Atlantic Petroleum to what it is today, Atlantic Petroleum has updated its visual design, including the company's logo.

The new logo is a more modern and simplified version of the old logo, with its primary element still being the blue mussel.

The modernisation reflects the extensive internal process aiming to clarify the company's mission, identity and value base. Atlantic Petroleum is moving forward, but with mission and values unchanged.

The Atlantic Petroleum logo consists of two key components: The mussel symbol and the Atlantic Petroleum typography. The colour of the mussel is petroleum blue (Pantone 3025 EC) and the typography is black.

The typography used is Underton (1998), designed by Jonas Hecksher a prizewinning graphical designer and co-founder of the successful design firm e-types.

The logo has its primary offset in the common mussel. The form of the new logo also gives associations to the sea, movement and growth.
